Locations

Locations are destinations used in tours, bookings and travel information. The system comes pre-loaded with all IATA airport codes. You can also create your own custom locations.

Navigate to: Settings → Locations

The Locations section contains three types:

  • Locations — main destinations used on tours
  • Pickup Locations — specific pickup points for passengers
  • Location Types — categories for organising locations (managed from Central Admin)

Locations

Navigate to: Settings → Locations → Locations

Location List

Displays all existing locations in the system.

Filter options: Active / Inactive / All

You can toggle the status of any location between active and inactive. Inactive locations are not available for selection when creating tours.

Create a Location

  1. Click Create Location
  2. Fill in the fields:

If travel information is linked to a location that is used as a tour destination, passengers who have booked that tour can view the travel information in the Customer Portal → Trip Details → Travel Information tab.

Where Locations Appear

Active locations are available in:

  • Tour Administration → Tour Templates — Location field
  • Tour Administration → All Tours — Location field
  • Pickup Locations — as the "Pickup location area" for any pickup point

Update a Location

  1. Click on the location name
  2. Edit any fields
  3. Click Update

Pickup Locations

Navigate to: Settings → Locations → Pickup Locations

Pickup locations are specific points where passengers can be collected at the start of a tour — for example, a hotel, train station or airport terminal.

Pickup Location List

Displays all existing pickup locations.

Filter options: Active / Inactive / All

Create a Pickup Location

  1. Click Create Pickup Location
  2. Fill in the fields:

Note

Every pickup location must be linked to a Pickup location area — which is a standard Location. Make sure the parent location exists before creating pickup points under it.

Where Pickup Locations Appear

Active pickup locations are available in:

  • Tour Templates / All Tours — Pickup Locations field (multi-select). Pickup locations assigned to a tour appear as options for passengers during booking
  • Bookings → Passenger Details — Pickup Location field. Only the pickup locations assigned to the selected tour are shown here

Update a Pickup Location

  1. Click on the pickup location name
  2. Edit any fields
  3. Click Update

Countries & Territories

Countries and territories visible in the system are synced from Central Admin and cannot be created or edited at company level. They support multilingual display — the name can appear in the customer's preferred language.
