Users

The Users section allows administrators to manage all user accounts that have access to the Vaylo admin portal — including creating new users, assigning roles, and activating or deactivating accounts.

Navigate to: Settings → Users

User List​

The user list displays all registered users in the system with the following information:

  • Name — the user's full name
  • Email — the user's email address
  • Status — active or inactive

Filter options:

  • Active — show only active users
  • Inactive — show only inactive users
  • All — show all users

Search: Use the search bar to find a specific user by name or email address.

Create a New User​

Navigate to: Settings → Users → Create User

  1. Click the Create User button
  2. Fill in the required fields:

  1. Optionally assign additional roles using the checkboxes:

    • Assign as super admin — full access to all system settings
    • Assign as passenger — access to the passenger/customer portal
    • Assign as tour guide — access to the tour guide section

  2. Click Create

The new user will receive an email with their login credentials automatically.

Note

A user must have at least one role assigned. Without a role, the user will not have access to any part of the system.

Activate or Deactivate a User​

You can control whether a user can access the system by changing their status.

  1. Find the user in the list
  2. Toggle their status between Active and Inactive
  • Active users can log in and use the system normally
  • Inactive users cannot log in until their status is changed back to active
Note

Deactivating a user does not delete their account or any data associated with them.

Edit a User​

  1. Click on the user's name in the list
  2. Update any fields — name, email or role
  3. Click Save
  • User Roles — define permissions for each role
  • Services — control which features are active for your account
